North Korea launching KN-17 ballistic missile - RED ALERT

North Korea claimed Monday that it successfully tested a new missile the previous day capable of carrying a "large, heavy nuclear warhead."

North Korea launches successful missile test
It was the regime's most successful missile test to date, but officials in in South Korea said more information was needed before the North's inflammatory claim about nuclear warheads could be confirmed.

U.S. officials had yet to react to the North's claim, but Japan said, regardless, the new test showed "some progress" in the isolated country's missile programme and was thus further evidence that "we have entered a new level of threat regarding North Korea."

Speaking Monday in Tokyo, Japanese Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga noted that along with the U.S. and South Korea, Japan was going to push this week at the United Nations for greater unity, including efforts to extend "diplomatic cooperation with China and Russia and other countries that have a strong influence" over the North.

Mi4S Integrally Suppressed Rifle - TrackingPoint

THE Mi4S INTEGRALLY SUPPRESSED RIFLE!*
The popular and versatile .300 Blackout cartridge already packs a punch in TrackingPoint’s recent M400XHDR. Now, this same caliber and lightweight AR platform provides the foundation for TrackingPoint’s most advanced PGF yet: the Mi4S. The Mi4S Integrally Suppressed Rifle features both supersonic and subsonic capabilities, Gen-2 night vision, lightning-fast 1 second calculated target lock time, and an integrally suppressed barrel that allows for faster follow-up shots against multiple targets with significant reductions in both sound and recoil when using subsonic ammunition. The combination of whisper-quiet stealth capability, superior stopping power and rugged dependability make the Mi4S the perfect choice for dispatching feral hogs, coyotes and other predators, not to mention its potent home defense applications.

*OWNING A SUPPRESSOR
Suppressors are legal but are regulated by federal law and on a state-by-state basis by the National Firearm Act (NFA) branch of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE). Individuals purchasing a suppressor must complete and file a Form 4 to transfer an NFA item from a dealer’s inventory to an individual. Wait times can vary.

Nellis Air Force Base Red Flag 17-2: Fighter Jets Full Scale Operations (Preps & Take off Footage)

Footage of Exercise Red Flag 17-2, with fighter jet crew members on duty 24/7 at Nellis Air Force Base.

Nellis Air Force Base, Nev., is one of the largest fighter bases in the world. Aircraft from Nellis operate on the Nevada Test and Training Range, which offers more than 15,000 square miles of airspace and 4,700 square miles of restricted land. More than 75 percent of all live munitions used by the Air Force for training are dropped on the Nevada Test and Training Range. Many communities in southern Nevada see and hear Nellis aircraft 24 hours a day, seven days a week. From 100 feet above the ground to twice the speed of sound, Nellis conducts advanced combat training, performs operational test and evaluation, and develops tactics.

Red Flag 17-2 was underway from February 27 to March 10, 2017. Red Flag is the U.S. Air Force's premier air-to-air combat training exercise. Participants often include both United States and allied nations' combat air forces. The exercise provides aircrews the experience of multiple, intensive air combat sorties in the safety of a training environment.

USAF B-52 Bomber AGM-86B Nuclear Air-Launched Cruise Missile Testing (Short Aerial Footage)

US Air Force officialy tested an AGM-86B nuclear air-launched cruise missile with a B-52 bomber.

The Boeing B-52 Stratofortress is an American long-range, subsonic, jet-powered strategic bomber. The B-52 was designed and built by Boeing, which has continued to provide support and upgrades. It has been operated by the United States Air Force (USAF) since the 1950s. The bomber is capable of carrying up to 70,000 pounds (32,000 kg) of weapons, and has a typical combat range of more than 8,800 miles (14,080 km) without aerial refueling.

Beginning with the successful contract bid in June 1946, the B-52 design evolved from a straight wing aircraft powered by six turboprop engines to the final prototype YB-52 with eight turbojet engines and swept wings. The B-52 took its maiden flight in April 1952. Built to carry nuclear weapons for Cold War-era deterrence missions, the B-52 Stratofortress replaced the Convair B-36. A veteran of several wars, the B-52 has dropped only conventional munitions in combat. The B-52's official name Stratofortress is rarely used; informally, the aircraft has become commonly referred to as the BUFF (Big Ugly Fat Fucker).

The B-52 has been in active service with the USAF since 1955. As of December 2015, 58 were in active service with 18 in reserve. The bombers flew under the Strategic Air Command (SAC) until it was disestablished in 1992 and its aircraft absorbed into the Air Combat Command (ACC); in 2010 all B-52 Stratofortresses were transferred from the ACC to the newly created Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC). Superior performance at high subsonic speeds and relatively low operating costs have kept the B-52 in service despite the advent of later, more advanced aircraft, including the canceled Mach 3 B-70 Valkyrie, the variable-geometry B-1 Lancer, and the stealth B-2 Spirit. The B-52 completed sixty years of continuous service with its original operator in 2015. After being upgraded between 2013 and 2015, it is expected to serve into the 2040s.

The AGM-86 ALCM is an American subsonic air-launched cruise missile (ALCM) built by Boeing and operated by the United States Air Force. This missile was developed to increase the effectiveness and survivability of the Boeing B-52H Stratofortress bomber. In combination, the missile dilutes an enemy's forces and complicates air defense of its territory.

The nuclear armed AGM-86B uses a terrain contour-matching guidance system (TERCOM) to fly to its assigned target.

USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) Pacific Sail & Rolling Airframe Missile Fire (Aerial Footage)

Aerial view of the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) underway in the Pacific Ocean on March 30, 2017. Plus, firing 2 Rolling Airframe Missiles during a training exercise on April 9, 2017. The Roosevelt is underway conducting a Group Sail Training Unit Exercise (GRUSL) with the Carrier Strike Group.

USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) (also known by crewmembers as "the Big Stick" or within the US Navy simply as TR) is the fourth Nimitz-class aircraft carrier. Her radio call sign is Rough Rider, the name of President Theodore Roosevelt's volunteer cavalry unit during the Spanish–American War. She was launched in 1984, saw her first action during Operation Desert Storm in 1991.

Theodore Roosevelt was the first aircraft carrier to be assembled using modular construction, wherein large modules are independently constructed in "lay-down" areas, prior to being hoisted into place and welded together. Modular construction, made possible through the use of a huge gantry crane capable of lifting 900 tons, cut 16 months off Theodore Roosevelt's construction time, and the technique has been used on every aircraft carrier since. Roosevelt and those Nimitz-class vessels completed after her have slight structural differences from the earlier carriers (USS Nimitz, USS Dwight D. Eisenhower, and USS Carl Vinson) and improved protection for ordnance storage in her magazines.

Theodore Roosevelt's history began on 30 September 1980, when a contract was awarded for "Hull 624D" to Newport News Shipbuilding. Her keel was laid down on 31 October 1981, with Secretary of Defense Caspar Weinberger initiating the first weld. On 3 November 1981, Secretary of the Navy John F. Lehman announced that the carrier would be named for the 26th President of the United States, Theodore Roosevelt.

The vessel's Pre-Commissioning Unit (PCU) was formed in February 1984, with Captain Paul W. Parcells named the Commanding Officer. On 27 October 1984, the ship was officially christened by Mrs. Barbara Lehman, wife of Secretary Lehman. On 25 October 1986, Theodore Roosevelt was commissioned to active service at Newport News.

Singapore Air Force F-15SG dropping first GBU-31 Bomb for Combat Hammer 2017 (Report & Interviews)

The Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) participated in Combat Hammer last week at Hill Air Force Base (AFB), Utah. The highlight for this competition is GBU 31, a 2,000-pound class [joint direct attack munition]. This is the first time deploying this munition in the RSAF with the F-15SG. The GBU 31 is used for precision targeting on fixed objects, ranging from stationary vehicles to large building complexes.

The McDonnell Douglas (now Boeing) F-15E Strike Eagle is an American all-weather multirole strike fighter[4] derived from the McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle. The F-15E was designed in the 1980s for long-range, high speed interdiction without relying on escort or electronic-warfare aircraft. United States Air Force (USAF) F-15E Strike Eagles can be distinguished from other U.S. Eagle variants by darker aircraft camouflage and conformal fuel tanks mounted along the engine intake ramps.

The F-15SG (formerly F-15T) is a variant of the F-15E, ordered by the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) after a seven-year evaluation period involving five other fighter aircraft under consideration. The F-15SG was chosen on 6 September 2005 over the Dassault Rafale, the only other remaining aircraft in contention. An order for 12 F-15SG fighter was placed in December 2005. The F-15F designation was also reserved for the RSAF.

The Strike Eagle has been deployed for military operations in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Libya, among others. During these operations the F-15E has carried out deep strikes against high-value targets, combat air patrols, and provided close air support for coalition troops. It has also been exported to several countries.

Combat Hammer is an exercise that evaluates weapons systems in their entirety— from the loading to the delivery of the munitions. Combat Hammer provides the aircrew the opportunity to conduct component level proficiency training in a realistic operational scenario. Technical expertise and analytical data acquired throughout this exercise allows the RSAF to hone its skills and evaluate advanced weapons systems.

TROMPE LA MORT: Team France at Strong Europe Tank Challenge 2017 (Exercise B-roll and Footage)

Check out Team France, while participating in the Strong Europe Tank Challenge with the Leclerc Main Battle Tanks.

The Strong Europe Tank Challenge (SETC) is co-hosted by U.S. Army Europe and the German Army, May 7-12, 2017. The competition is designed to project a dynamic presence, foster military partnership, promote interoperability, and provides an environment for sharing tactics, techniques and procedures. Platoons from six NATO and partner nations are in the competition.

The Char Leclerc is a main battle tank (MBT) built by GIAT, now Nexter of France. It was named in honour of General Philippe Leclerc de Hauteclocque who led the French element of the drive towards Paris while in command of the Free French 2nd Armoured Division (2e DB) in World War II.

The Leclerc is in service with the French Army and the army of the United Arab Emirates. In production since 1991, the Leclerc entered French service in 1992, replacing the AMX 30 as the country's main armoured platform. With production now complete, the French Army has a total of 406 Leclerc and the United Arab Emirates Army has 388. The price in 2011 was €9.3 million, which made it the most expensive tank in history at the time. Following the devaluation of the Euro its price fell dramatically, and in 2014 the K2 Black Panther surpassed the Leclerc's price record.

The MG 3 is a German general-purpose machine gun chambered for the 7.62×51mm NATO cartridge. The weapon's design is derived from the World War II era MG 42 universal machine gun that fired the 7.92×57mm Mauser round

The MG 3 was standardized in the late 1950s and adopted into service with the newly formed Bundeswehr, where it continues to serve to this day as a squad support weapon and a vehicle-mounted machine gun. The weapon and its derivatives have also been acquired by the armed forces of over 30 countries. Production rights to the machine gun were purchased by Italy (MG 42/59), Spain, Pakistan (MG 1A3), Greece, Iran, Sudan and Turkey.

MQ-9 Reaper In Action

The General Atomics MQ-9 Reaper (sometimes called Predator B) is an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) capable of remotely controlled or autonomous flight operations, developed by General Atomics Aeronautical Systems (GA-ASI) primarily for the United States Air Force (USAF). The MQ-9 and other UAVs are referred to as Remotely Piloted Vehicles/Aircraft (RPV/RPA) by the USAF to indicate their human ground controllers. The MQ-9 is the first hunter-killer UAV designed for long-endurance, high-altitude surveillance. In 2006, the then–Chief of Staff of the United States Air Force General T. Michael Moseley said: "We've moved from using UAVs primarily in intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance roles before Operation Iraqi Freedom, to a true hunter-killer role with the Reaper."

The MQ-9 is a larger, heavier, and more capable aircraft than the earlier General Atomics MQ-1 Predator; it can be controlled by the same ground systems used to control MQ-1s. The Reaper has a 950-shaft-horsepower (712 kW) turboprop engine (compared to the Predator's 115 hp (86 kW) piston engine). The greater power allows the Reaper to carry 15 times more ordnance payload and cruise at about three times the speed of the MQ-1. The aircraft is monitored and controlled by aircrew in the Ground Control Station (GCS), including weapons employment.

In 2008, the New York Air National Guard 174th Attack Wing began the transition from F-16 piloted fighters to MQ-9 Reapers, becoming the first fighter squadron conversion to an all–unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV) attack squadron. In March 2011, the U.S. Air Force was training more pilots for advanced unmanned aerial vehicles than for any other single weapons system. The Reaper is also used by the United States Navy, the CIA, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, NASA, and the militaries of several other countries. The USAF plans to keep the MQ-9 in service into the 2030s.

USAF's Boeing X-37 B OTV: Landing after 718 Days in Space Classified Mission (Leaked Footage)

The Boeing X-37, also known as the Orbital Test Vehicle (OTV), is a reusable unmanned spacecraft. It is boosted into space by a launch vehicle, then re-enters Earth's atmosphere and lands as a spaceplane. The X-37 is operated by the United States Air Force for orbital spaceflight missions intended to demonstrate reusable space technologies. It is a 120%-scaled derivative of the earlier Boeing X-40.

The X-37 began as a NASA project in 1999, before being transferred to the U.S. Department of Defense in 2004. It conducted its first flight as a drop test on 7 April 2006, at Edwards Air Force Base, California. The spaceplane's first orbital mission, USA-212, was launched on 22 April 2010 using an Atlas V rocket. Its successful return to Earth on 3 December 2010 was the first test of the vehicle's heat shield and hypersonic aerodynamic handling. A second X-37 was launched on 5 March 2011, with the mission designation USA-226; it returned to Earth on 16 June 2012. A third X-37 mission, USA-240, launched on 11 December 2012 and landed at Vandenberg AFB on 17 October 2014. The fourth X-37 mission, USA-261, launched on 20 May 2015 and landed on 7 May 2017 at the Shuttle Landing Facility of NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral. The unpiloted space plane spent a record 718 days in space during its classified mission.

Destroys Target Drone - SeaRAM Test

The SeaRAM® anti-ship missile defense system provides the highest level of ship self-defense. It is designed to identify and destroy approaching supersonic and subsonic threats, such as cruise missiles, drones, small boats and helicopters.

The innovative SeaRAM system combines key attributes of the Phalanx® close-in weapon system and the RAM™ guided weapon system. The SeaRAM system combines the superior accuracy, extended range and high maneuverability of the RAM missile with the high resolution search-and-track sensor and reliable, quick-response capability of the Phalanx Block 1B system. An 11-missile RAM system launcher assembly replaces the Phalanx system’s 20 mm gun.

An affordable capability upgrade, the SeaRAM above-deck system fits the exact footprint of the Phalanx system, uses the same power and requires minimal shipboard modification.

The U.S. Navy is in the process of arming four forward-deployed destroyers in Rota, Spain with SeaRAM systems, including: the USS Porter, USS Carney, USS Ross and USS Donald Cook. The installations are a rapid response to protect naval ships deployed in Europe. The SeaRAM system is also being integrated on the U.S. Navy’s littoral combat ships.

Russia Sends SU- 35 to U.S. Coast , Alaska, AGAINST F-22

The Sukhoi Su-35 (Russian: Сухой Су-35; NATO reporting name: Flanker-E[N 1]) is a designation for two separate, heavily upgraded derivatives of the Su-27 aircraft. They are single-seat, twin-engine, supermaneuverable multirole fighters, designed by Sukhoi and built by Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aircraft Production Association (KnAAPO).

The first variant was designed during the 1980s, when Sukhoi sought to upgrade its high-performance Su-27, and was initially known as the Su-27M. Later re-designated Su-35, this derivative incorporated aerodynamic refinements with increased manoeuvrability, enhanced avionics, longer range, and more powerful engines. The first Su-35 prototype, converted from a Su-27, made its maiden flight in June 1988. More than a dozen of these were built, some of which were used by the Russian Knights aerobatic demonstration team. The first Su-35 design was later modified into the Su-37, which possessed thrust vectoring engines and was used as a technology demonstrator. A sole Su-35UB two-seat trainer was built in the late 1990s that strongly resembled the Su-30MK family.

U.S. Air Force T-38 Talon Trainer: Atlantic Trident 17 Jet Cockpit POV (Amazing Cockpit POV Footage)

U. S. T-38 Talon Trainers fly with F-35 and F-15 fighter jets during exercise Atlantic Trident 17 at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia. Filmed April 2017.

More than 72,000 U. S. Air Force pilots have trained in Northrop Grumman Corporation's T-38 Talon, the world's first supersonic trainer when it entered service. Nearly 1,200 Talons were produced from 1961-72, and more than 500 are currently operational with the Air Force and NASA.

Northrop Grumman Corporation has produced a replacement wing for the T-38 that will help to extend the service life of the aircraft, introduced in 1961, until at least 2020.

T-38 wings are single units from tip to tip, constructed of aluminum alloys with control surfaces reinforced with internal honeycomb. Design improvements developed from usage and were retrofitted into many operational T-38's.

Every T-38 Talon built by Northrop Grumman was delivered on time, at or below the contract price and with performance as promised. The final T-38 was delivered to the Air Force in 1972.

INDIAN ARMY FIRES BLOCK III BRAHMOS CRUISE MISSILE

The BrahMos (Hindi: ब्रह्मोस brahmos, Russian: Брамосl) is a short-range ramjet supersonic cruise missile that can be launched from submarine, ships, aircraft, or land. It is a joint venture between the Russian Federation's NPO Mashinostroeyenia and India's Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) who have together formed BrahMos Aerospace. It is based on the Russian P-800 Oniks cruise missile and other similar sea-skimming Russian cruise missile technology. The name BrahMos is a portmanteau formed from the names of two rivers, the Brahmaputra of India and the Moskva of Russia.

It is the world's fastest anti-ship cruise missile in operation. The missile travels at speeds of Mach 2.8 to 3.0. The land-launched and ship-launched versions are already in service, with the air and submarine-launched versions currently in the testing phase.] An air-launched variant of BrahMos is planned which came out in 2012. A hypersonic version of the missile, BrahMos-II, is also presently under development with speed of Mach 7-8 to boost aerial fast strike capability. It is expected to be ready for testing by 2017.

Though India had wanted the BrahMos to be based on a mid range cruise missile like P-700 Granit. Its propulsion is based on the Russian missile, and missile guidance has been developed by BrahMos Aerospace. The missile is expected to reach a total order US$13 billion.

In 2016, as India became a member of the Missile Technology Control Regime (MTCR), India and Russia are now planning to jointly develop a new generation of Brahmos missiles with 600 km-plus range and an ability to hit protected targets with pinpoint accuracy

Power message from Tramp: A missile test that could hit North Korea nuclear

A missile test was carried out by the United States on Wednesday morning, sending a clear message to North Korea.

In particular, the United States launched an unarmed missile-based missile base in California, which can be armed with any form of head, even with nuclear targets affecting everywhere on the planet.

According to specialists, Donald Trab wanted to send a clear message to Kim Jong Oun, showing that what he is trying to do, namely to build a long-range ballistic missile, is already in the United States at their arsenal.

The Minuteman 3 intercontinental was launched from the silo of the Vandenberg base, stretching 6,800 kilometers before falling into the Kwajalein atoll in the Pacific Ocean.

According to the US Air Force, the design for the missile launch, as it was called, lasted 10 months.

It is the latest "acquisition" of the US nuclear arsenal.

According to the Americans, its range reaches 12,900 kilometers.

As it has been known, the United States already has 450 Minuteman 3 intercontinental missiles in their arsenal.

The current rocket test was the second within a week of California's air base, at a point between San Francisco and Los Angeles.

The US rocket test was held just 24 hours after Pyongyang's direct threats, through its friendly press in North Korea, for a nuclear strike in US territory that would kill millions of American citizens and end the great power .

China and Russia have warned the US about the dangers of Washington's aggressive policy, and the issue was also raised in the direct talk that Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin had by telephone on Tuesday.

AN/AAQ-37 Distributed Aperture System (DAS) for the F-35

Northrop Grumman has developed the only 360 degree, spherical situational awareness system in the electro-optical distributed aperture system (DAS). The DAS surrounds the aircraft with a protective sphere of situational awareness. It warns the pilot of incoming aircraft and missile threats as well as providing day/night vision, fire control capability and precision tracking of wingmen/friendly aircraft for tactical maneuvering.

Designated the AN/AAQ-37 and comprising six electro-optical sensors, the full EO DAS will enhance the F-35's survivability and operational effectiveness by warning the pilot of incoming aircraft and missile threats, providing day/night vision and supporting the navigation function of the F-35 Lightning II's forward-looking infrared sensor.

MIG 41 Russia - SUPER 6TH Generatiom Fighter

The Mikoyan MiG-41 is a Sixth-generation jet fighter interceptor aircraft currently being developed for the Russian Air Force by Mikoyan. Mikoyan MiG-41 [1]

According to the Russian defense analyst Vasily Kashin, the MiG-41 would be considered as a 5++ or 6th Gen project. [2]

Not much information is available concerning this project, but it is rumored that the aircraft will be extremely fast (with a top speed of Mach 4 to 4.3). It is anticipated that it will not enter service until at least mid-2020s and expected to achieve near hypersonic speed. As an interceptor, its primary mission is rumored to offset future reconnaissance aircraft currently being developed by the United States and China (although Russia is also developing such aircraft, such as the Ayaks). To achieve such high speeds, the aircraft is probably to be equipped with ramjet- or turboramjet engines.
